Lee Harris is Regional Branch Manager at the Tukwila Financial Center for BECU. His broad-based experience includes branch operations, project management, sales, marketing, training and support. Lee has both public and private sector experience. His past work includes projects and marketing campaigns for Northwest Alliance, the Everett Chamber of Commerce and the Everett Aquasox. Lee graduated from the University of Washington with a concentration in advertising, promotions, facilitation and group work.
Shawna Thompson is the Deposit Product Manager at BECU. She has been in the credit union industry for over 16 years where she has worked in a variety of positions including: Member Services, Finance, Internal Audit and Product Development. Shawna has a business degree from Western Oregon State University, a certification in CUNA’s Compliance program, and has completed CUNA’s Financial Management School.
Jeffrey Blaine is the Marketing Manager for Prevail Credit Union. He received his BA from Western Washington University. Jeff is a 2000 graduate of CUNA Management School as well as Certified by CUES’ Center for Applied Executive Management in 2005. He has been in the credit union industry for over 20 years and has served on the Washington Youth Involvement Board. Jeff says his experience as a branch manager and loan department manager have made him a more effective marketing professional.
Shelli Millhuff is Vice President of Risk Management at Watermark Credit Union. Shelli has over 20 years experience in financial services at Watermark. She has worked and managed in operations, electronic services, the branch system, business development and lending. Shelli is a former board member of Professional Credit Union Women.
Jim Newstrom is a District Manager for Seattle Metropolitan Credit Union. He received his BA from the University of Minnesota, is a 2007 graduate of Western CUNA Management School at Pomona College in Claremont, California, and is currently pursing an MBA. Jim is active in a variety of organizations and considers community outreach critical to his current position.
Shari Storm is Chief Marketing Officer at Verity Credit Union, where she heads up marketing, business development, e-commerce and Investment Services. Before coming to Verity, she was Director of Public Relations at Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Seattle. Shari is a graduate of University of Washington and Seattle University’s Albers School of Business.
Cynthia (Cyndie) Martini, President/CEO of Member Access Pacific, LLC, has more than 23 years of credit union and Credit Union League management experience, including the management and development of many successful card and ATM portfolio programs, marketing programs and business strategies. Born in Washington State, Cyndie began her credit union career in Anchorage, Alaska. She is an active supporter and volunteer of youth educational programs, and has served as a chapter representative and board member, chairperson and national delegate of the Washington Youth Involvement Board.
Vicky Miller is in Business Services at Verity Credit Union. She has over 11 years of commercial lending experience as a financial and credit analyst. Vicky made the switch to Verity two years ago and her motto is, “Once you go credit union, you’ll never go bank.” Vicky graduated from California State University with a degree in Social Work but has been in the financial industry since graduating. Vicky is a volunteer with the Marine Mammal Stranding Network in Skagit and North Snohomish County helping to educate the public about stranded harbor seals, sea lions and other marine mammals.
